A-ya-wiki, B-ya-wiki, C-ya-wiki

Are the keys ya need for seeking Christianity

If you wanna recive a gift that's totally free

If you wanna be with Jesus for eternity

You gotta A-ya-wiki, B-ya-wiki, C-ya-wiki. A-ya-wiki, B-ya-wiki, C-ya-wiki

A-ya-wiki: Admit to God you are a sinner and repent and turn away from your sin; QUICKLY QUICKLY!

B-ya-wiki: Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and He gave His life for you and me-ee-ee-ee

C-ya-wiki: Confess your faith in Jesus as your Savior and your Lord forevermore...It's isn't TRICKY!

(repeat!)

A-ya-wiki, B-ya-wiki, C-ya-wiki....

Every time there is a silent moment I start singing...A-ya-wiki, B-ya-wiki, C-ya-wiki. It never ends!

What's been going on?!?

The boys have been in Chelan Falls with Roger's brother & his family for the past two weeks. We picked them up this past Friday and realized we haven't stopped since they've been gone! This is what has been happening in the Habich camp:

  • Rog and I painted the garage and started putting up some shelving to organize the garage and really move in!
  • We had dinner at my favorite restaurant for a delayed celebration of our 15th wedding anniversary (04.09.93)
  • We helped my parents celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary!
  • We watched the 4th of July fireworks from our porch. It is the best view in the City!
  • Rog and I went on a boat ride on Lake Washington, to attend a birthday dinner celebration in Seattle with the best friends we could ever ask for. After dinner, rode the boat back with only the light of the moon and stars. One of the greatest nights of my life and it wasn't even my birthday! Do something memorable with your friends this summer!
  • Roger's Mom stopped by our house with a fun surprise: Her sisters from California! We haven't seen Roger's Aunts in some time so it was a fun unexpected visit. Family is important!
  • Vacation Bible School was a HOME RUN! With 70 kids registered (the youngest almost 3 and the oldest ones going into 2nd grade) there was never a dull moment.  It was a busy, successful week with AWESOME volunteers sharing the word of God with the littlest believers.
  • Rog and I went to the RACES! PJeff was driving the wheels off the car. I thought another win was a comin'!...soon...very soon...he isn't done winning yet!
  • I was making strawberry shortcake the other night, thinking of a friend who happens to love strawberry shortcake, and voila! He shows up on our doorstep. He has strawberry shortcake radar!
  • The kids and I hiked to Barclay lake yesterday. Carter talked the entire way up and the entire way down. When he tired of talking to me, he talked to anyone else that would listen, it was hilarious. The boys all jumped into the cold, cold lake. It was a beautiful day and my calves are feeling the burn today. :)

Carterism #701

I know, I know...Enough boob talk already. LOL. Thought you might like this little story;

Roger, Carter, Jayce and I were all discussing our 4th bedroom and what will become of it. The boys want and XBOX room, I want an office and Roger thinks we are to become parents to a 3rd child. We both have felt for some time that we are called to adopt and that the perfect situation will arise. So to the boys I say;

Me: "Well what if that room is used for another baby?"

Jayce: "Not a baby, get a kid, like Taber's age or something"

Carter: "Well, I would really like a baby sister."

Me: "What if it is a baby boy?"

Carter: "Uh, then we'll send it down the river like Moses."

If you can't read the text it says: NO SIGN OF CANCER. None. Nada. Nil.

Protection and Healing

I have wanted to share these personal stories with so many, yet I can't find the words to speak, so I will write. God is so good and I want the world to know it!!! LOL. That just reminded me of Elf when he is dancing and screaming "I'm in love! I'm in LOVE! AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!"
This is my God and I want you to know Him.

Example Number One: We pray for a hedge of protection around our families. Picture Roger running the Studebaker LaCarrera Race Car up and down the runway last week. He has an old customer from The Hitch Connection in the passenger seat who incidentally was Carter's baseball coach last year. Scott has never been in a race car, so after much prodding from Roger's Dad, Roger agrees to take Scott out in the car. Roger and Scott make a few passes to warm up the car, circle the end of the runway and Rog floors it. Full out. Puts the pedal to the metal and tells Scott to hold on. At about 80 miles per hour, the hood flies off the car, spears the windshield shattering it into millions of pea sized shards of glass, then the hood flips end over end down the runway. Roger and Scott at 80mph, are showered in glass. Roger is wearing safety glasses, Scott is not. After a few hours of spraying each other off with the air hose, assessing their injuries and picking glass out of their arms, hands, faces, Roger comes home to tell me about his wild ride. A few tiny cuts but he is fine. Scott is fine. He assures me they are fine. Hedge of Protection.

Example Number Two: We pray for healing. Last August during a routine exam, the doctors found a mass in my left breast. The first mammogram showed the mass, so they wanted to do another mammogram week later. (I have yet to understand how I can pee on a stick and in seconds find out I'm pregnant but it takes weeks for follow up tests and longer for the results!) My uncle is really sick and it is all I can think about. I schedule the second mammogram and it again shows the mass. They call in the big guns, I call my Pastor. I only tell two people that I know fully believe in healing so they can pray with me. The doctors start saying cancer. I start saying Jesus.
They schedule an ultrasound. It shows the mass. They say to schedule another appointment. I don't. Instead I wait. My uncle loses his 10 year battle with Cancer. I cannot and I will not accept this diagnosis.
January 2008, I feel the mass burning inside my breast. I'm scared but I thank God for growing my faith. Maybe I should schedule an appointment? Not yet. I'm not ready.
February 2008, Dallas TX, Pastor T.D. Jakes rocks my world. I am standing with my closest companions and we are all singing; Thank you for healing me. Thank you for heal-ing me. Tears and humility. Thank you for healing me.
Monday, June 23 2008. I have an appointment at the Everett Breast Center for another mammogram and to talk to the doctors about our strategy. I am reprimanded for not scheduling a more timely follow up. After the mammogram, the nurse sits me in a room filled with a handful of other women. Roger is in the waiting room and I so want to march out there in my super sexy butterfly medical shirt and sit with him. In the room I am stuck in, one woman says that this is the room they put you when something is terribly wrong. I start to pray. They come and get me with a team of people to do another ultrasound. An ultrasound technician, a radiologist, a doctor and my original films from August.
They cannot find the mass.
Thank you for healing me.
Thank you for heal-ing me.

Of course, the one I like is over $2,000. I can be in Italy tomorrow for $2,000. I wonder if it is cheaper over there?
